CEO and Founder

Rick comes from a Spinal Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery background. He is Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Calgary. His past experience includes leadership roles within hospital and health care systems, and within university settings. Rick has co-founded, nurtured and grown a number of health-related businesses, and leads Vivametrica as President and CEO.

Matt is an entrepreneurial physician, educator and researcher at Stanford University, where he is Chief of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery. His research interests lie in the application of mobile technologies to musculoskeletal care, and he is a pioneer in the new field of objective tracking of physical performance in musculoskeletal diseases. This work has given Matt unique insights into the capabilities and future potential of wearable technologies, and he is passionate about bringing their full potential to bear.

Ross Orrett

Ross has over 20 years of experience building and leading companies that deliver mission critical B2B software solutions. Ross has built and strategically exited three software / SaaS companies – generating a quarter billion dollars in shareholder value and has also been actively involved in a number of acquisitions throughout his career.
Most recently, Ross had a global leadership role with SAP, following the successful acquisition of Camilion Solutions Inc., a leading provider of product and policy management software to the Insurance industry, where Ross served as Chairman, CEO and President. Ross transformed the company from a start-up to a profitable, global player sought after by tier 1 insurance customers and strategic partners such as IBM, Oracle and SAP.
Through 2015, Ross was Chair of the Advisory Board and major shareholder of Doxim Inc, and prior to that was CEO of InSystems Corporation, a leader in regulatory document processing solutions to the financial services industry acquired by Standard Register in 2002. He currently serves on the board of a number of companies in the software sector.
Ross holds a degree from the University of Waterloo and successfully completed Stanford’s Executive Program for Growing Companies.

Terrence Cummings, FSA is an actuary with over 25 years of experience in the life and health insurance industry spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He has held a variety of senior management roles in product development, marketing, operations, technology, and finance. Most recently Terrence was head of the largest Pan Asian health and wellness ecosystem integrating these new datasets into the actuarial and underwriting frameworks of insurance. He currently consults to insurers on building shared-value business models to enable a new paradigm of continuous underwriting, dynamic pricing, and customer engagement.

Lee is the Director of the Office of Research in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto.
For over 25 years, she has been involved in all aspects of research design, implementation, and analysis of epidemiologic and biostatistics studies.

Rahim Moineddin

Rahim Moineddin has a PhD in statistics from the University of Kent At Canterbury, United Kingdom and a master in biostatistics from the University of Toronto. Rahim is a full professor at the department of Family and community Medicine, University of Toronto, an adjunct Senior Scientists with the Institute for Clinical Evaluation Sciences (ICES) and a full professor in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. Rahim has collaborated widely on research projects from Primary Care, Medical Imaging and many other fields of medicine.
